Delete your account

Email support@stacklinx.com from the email address on the account, or use the form on this page. The message has to name the account email. We use that address to make sure we delete the right account. If the request comes from a different address, we will reply and ask you to confirm from the account email before we delete anything.

Signed-in users who want a copy first can download one from Settings, then Your data. That uses the existing export at /api/data-export/me. Downloading the archive does not delete the account.

Within 30 days of a confirmed request we delete:

• The profile: name, email address, and password hash.
• Sign-in tokens for that account.
• Google and Spotify tokens stored for that account, which stops Stacklinx from calling those services for you.
• Personal settings stored on the account.

If you are the only member of a workspace, we also delete that workspace’s projects, messages, and files. If other people share the workspace, we remove your account from it. Messages and files the remaining members still use may stay in the workspace, without your account attached. The confirmation email says which of those applied.

We may keep security and server logs, backup copies until the backup cycle overwrites them, and records we have to keep to comply with the law, to resolve a dispute, or to prevent fraud. Those records are not used to run the product for you. We do not keep the password hash or the connected-account tokens after deletion.

Enter the account email. Submitting opens an email to support@stacklinx.com with that address in the body. There is no separate deletion API: this form only prepares the email request.
